Okie dokie so as most of you know I am getting ready to go to a 27 months commitment with the Peace Corps in Liberia! Rather than constantly e-mailing everyone I am going to try and post stories and adventures on here as much as possible, which probably wont be much. I am hoping between this and facebook I will be able to maintain some minimal contact with family and friends.
While in Liberia (a western coast African country near Ghana, Sierra Leone and Cote D'ivorie) I will be teaching science to high schoolers. I will keep you posted with information as it comes to me. I will be leaving on July 7th for Philadelphia to a quick one day training. On July 8th we will awake in the great city of brotherly love and board a bus to wonderful Newark, New Jersey airport where at 6:15 we will board a plane to fly to Brussels and than catch a connector down to Monrovia, the capitol city of Liberia. In all it will be about 15 hours in the air.
